Blendtonel’s Fruï Zest (Pty) Ltd, is a business specializing in yogurt fruit pulp preparations, drinking yogurt syrups, milk blend concentrates, pie fillings, cake toppings, jams and ice cream ripples.

The Directors and Sole Shareholders are brothers, Pieter and Theuns Nel, who established the business on 1 February 1997. While production and procurement fall under Pieter’s management, Theuns heads up Sales and Marketing, Finance and Administration, Research and Development and Quality Assurance. The Company is still managed on a hands on basis by the brothers, who operate on an open door policy.

Production commenced on 1 March 1997. Initially, products were supplied to a few small dairies. Blendtonel’s, has more than 800 clients, which include five multi-national companies, and more than 500 one man businesses in the hawker trade. Clients are situated in all nine provinces of South Africa, and in more than 10 African countries.
